StackBid provides AI-powered construction materials cost estimates based on publicly available wholesale market data. Our estimates are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice.

3. Accuracy of Estimates

Important: All price estimates provided by StackBid are approximations based on 2026 wholesale market data. Actual prices may vary significantly based on:

Local market conditions and supplier pricing
Material availability and seasonal fluctuations
Project-specific requirements and specifications
Contractor labor costs (not included in estimates)

StackBid is not responsible for any financial decisions made based on our estimates. Always obtain multiple quotes from licensed contractors and suppliers before making purchasing decisions.

Listed for informational purposes only
Responsible for their own licensing, insurance, and work quality

StackBid does not verify contractor licenses in real time and is not responsible for the quality of work performed by any listed contractor. Always verify contractor licenses independently through your state licensing board.

5. User Responsibilities

Provide accurate project information for best estimate results
Independently verify all pricing before making purchases
Obtain proper permits for construction projects
Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes

6. Intellectual Property

All content on StackBid, including estimates, pricing data, and software, is the property of StackBid. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

StackBid is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of our Service, including financial losses resulting from reliance on our estimates.

8. StackBid Pro Subscription (Homeowners)

Your first materials estimate is free. StackBid Pro ($9.99/month) unlocks unlimited estimates, saved project history, price drop alerts, and detailed PDF reports.

StackBid Pro is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until canceled.
You can cancel anytime — on the website, through your account page (Stripe billing portal); in the mobile app, through your Apple ID or Google Play account subscription settings.
Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Charges are non-refundable for the current billing period once made, except where required by law or, for mobile purchases, subject to Apple's or Google's own refund policies.

9. Pro Contractor Subscriptions

Pro contractor listings ($49/month) are clearly marked as "Pro Partner" placements. This is a paid advertising arrangement and does not imply endorsement of quality.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
